Callie Khouri's 11 rules to live by:

1. Save yourself several thousand dollars and start flossing like a maniac now.
2. Always, in all circumstances, wear comfortable shoes. You never know when you may have to run for your life.
3. Never wear stockings that are darker than your shoes. Otherwise you get that Minnie Mouse look going and you want to avoid that.
4. Never argue with an idiot.
5. Practice everything in moderation except moderation, which you should practice in excess.
6. Be sure to have a hobby. 
7. Marry late.
8. Don't forget to check for change in the coke machine.
9. Keep track of your friends.
10. Life is short, so cram as much fun into it as you possibly can.
11. Be here now, and JUST DO IT.
